Abstract

Assertiveness is defined as: the ability to express our feelings and desires in an honest, kind, frank, open, direct and adequate manner, managing to say what is wanted without violating the rights of others or ours. Objective. - Identify the type of Assertiveness presented by the students of the degree in Chiropractic. Methodology. - quantitative and type of descriptive study. Instrument. - Assertiveness Multidiversity Scale (EMA). Population. - 34 students of the degree of Chiropractic. Results - Indirect Assertiveness Dimension, 12%, means using moderately indirect means such as written messages to communicate your feelings and opinions. In the Non-Assertiveness Dimension, 23% are women and 6% men. In the Assertiveness dimension, 42% men and 32% women stood out. Suggestion IES emphasize assertiveness training in their students.
